FOLLOWING JESUS IN 2025:

What Discipleship Looks Like Today

What are the unique challenges of disciples today? Are there different skills or knowledge we need today that weren’t needed say, 20 years ago? (uhhh… yes)

This class is for people who want to deepen their devotion to Jesus, as well as seasoned followers who want a “software update” re: today’s issues.

We’ll cover topics like:

- "Dying to yourself" isn’t a metaphor

- Suffering isn’t just for sin

- Truth over “love” (then Truth IN love)

- The many faces of feminism

- What is “evil”, and how we hate it

- The Spirit at the End of the Age

This class meets Wednesday nights for 6 weeks from October 8th to November 12th. Class meets from 7:00-8:30pm EST. Class cost is $30, scholarships available. Meeting location to be finalized based on size of class, but generally expect to meet near central Cincinnati area. Class will be broadcast online for those that cannot meet in person. No childcare available.

MINISTRY 101:

How to Minister to Anybody

As believers, we should (eventually) know how to minister to people in any kind of situation. If we follow Jesus’ example, we should be able to:

- Diagnose someone’s spiritual state

- Help them be born again

- Help them become disciples

- Help them receive the Holy Spirit

- Deliver them from evil spirits

- Pray for their healing

This can sound like an intimidating basket of skills… but when we have a Biblical framework for ministry, these become simple to understand and give away.

This class meets Wednesday nights for 3 weeks from December 3rd to December 17th. Class meets from 7:00-8:30pm EST. Class cost is $15, scholarships available. Meeting location to be finalized based on size of class, but generally expect to meet near central Cincinnati area. Class will be broadcast online for those that cannot meet in person. No childcare available.
